2024 FALL - CAA Co-ed Flag Football (12U-14U ONLY)

Registration:

July 1, 2024 - September 26, 2024 - $175 per player (Open Registration)

*After September 26, a $50 late fee will be charged

CAA Flag is open to boys and girls from the age of 5-14 years old. This year the League will have 9 age-group divisions (5/6U, 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, and 14U). Your child’s age group is based on his/her birthday as of August 31, 2024. The league will assign all players according to the player's age as of August 31. *Players may request to play up one division – subject to League approval.

PLAYER DRAFT

For players in the 5/6U - 11U divisions, players in these age divisions will be divided into teams via a League draft (date TBD). Parents/Players DO NOT attend the draft. It is for confirmed Coaches and League Officials only. Anyone not deemed as a Coach will be asked to leave the draft and not allowed to participate. If you would like to be an assistant coach, please ensure you do so during registration and your age group commissioner will reach out to you once registration has closed if needed. We are always looking for volunteers!

Team selection is NOT guaranteed whatsoever. The only exception is that a volunteer Head Coach or Assistant Coach can protect/secure their own child within their team. However, this will count against their protects. Each coach will be able to protect up to four (4) players from their previous years existing team (which includes their child and the children of any assistant coaches). Once a player has been drafted by a coach, that coach will contact the players/parents to inform them of their practice days and times. In the unusual event that a player is not drafted or assigned to a team following the draft, a full refund will be provided to that player.

Age Groups for Players in the 12u - 14u Divisions

Teams in these age groups operate on a “bring your own team” concept.
Coaches in this age group may submit a team roster with a maximum number of 8 registered players prior to the close of registration.
Coaches may also include in that list the names of additional players requested to be on their team. Those requests will be reviewed by the League based on player availability and the registration date (the earlier, the better).
Coaches: You must contact player/parents before submitting roster to CAA Flag to confirm their interest in playing on your team.
Teams that submit less than 10 players may be reassigned to other teams at the sole discretion of the League.
Players who sign up for the League without a specified team (“free agents”) will be distributed to other teams in the League based on availability and the date of his/her registration. Players who sign up earlier are more likely to be placed on a team than those who sign up later.

PRACTICE & GAMES

Practice and Games take place at the following location:

Plantation Park

3060 Race Track Rd, St Johns, FL 32259

Practice Days and Times are set by the Head Coach of each team. Coaches may schedule 1 - 2 practice per week, Monday - Friday in the late afternoon or evening. Practice times may be as early as 4:30pm or as late as 7:30pm. PLEASE take this into consideration prior to registering your player for this league. Refunds WILL NOT be issued due to personal schedule conflict, late practices or practice being too far away from home.

REFUND POLICY (PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND)

Refunds will be provided for any player not assigned to a team. Otherwise, refunds may be issued up to 9/26/2024 less a $25.00 transaction fee.

Refunds may not be issued after 9/26/2024, subject to League review.

Please note: Anyone who registers after 9/26/2024, WILL NOT be eligible for a refund.
