CAA Flag is open to boys and girls from the age of 5-14
CAA 7v7 League is open to boy and girls from the age 14-17.
Registration Instructions
All players will need to create an account prior to completing their first registration within the Sports Connect system If you have registered in prior years, you may log in with your existing account information to register. To create an account, please click "Create Account" on the right to get started.
This year the League will have 10 age-group divisions (5-6u, 7u, 8u, 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u, 14u, and 7 v 7 :14-17u). Your child’s age group is based on his/her birthday as of August 31, 2024. For example, if your child’s age as of August 31, 2023 was 11, then he/she will play in the 11u division. Players who are 18 years of age as of August 31, 2024 are not able to play in this League. Players may request to play up one division – subject to League approval.
Age Groups For Players in the 5u - 11u Divisions
Players in these age divisions will be divided into teams via a League draft, starting October 2024.
Parents/Players do NOT attend the draft. It is for confirmed Coaches and League Officials only. Anyone not deemed as a Coach will be asked to leave the draft and not allowed to participate.
If you would like to be an assistant coach, please ensure you do so during registration and your age group commissioner will reach out to you once registration has closed if needed. We are always looking for volunteers
Team selection is NOT guaranteed whatsoever. The only exception is that a volunteer Head Coach or Assistant Coach can protect/secure their own child within their team. However, this will count against their protects. Each coach will be able to protect up to four (4) players from their previous years existing team (which includes their child and the children of any assistant coaches).
Important: the League does NOT honor carpool or other team selection requests, nor does it honor any requests for certain practice days. Practice days are assigned to coaches after the draft.
Once a player has been drafted by a coach, that coach will contact the players/parents to inform them of their practice days and times.
In the unusual event that a player is not drafted or assigned to a team following the draft, a full refund will be provided to that player.
Age Groups for Players in the 12u - 14u Divisions
Teams in these age groups operate on a “bring your own team” concept.
Coaches in this age group may submit a team roster with a maximum number of 8 registered players prior to the close of registration.
Coaches may also include in that list the names of additional players requested to be on their team. Those requests will be reviewed by the League based on player availability and the registration date (the earlier, the better). Coaches: You must contact player/parents before submitting roster to CAA Flag to confirm their interest in playing on your team.
Teams that submit less than 10 players may be reassigned to other teams at the sole discretion of the League.
Players who sign up for the League without a specified team (“free agents”) will be distributed to other teams in the League based on availability and the date of his/her registration. Players who sign up earlier are more likely to be placed on a team than those who sign up later.
Importantly, refunds will be provided for any player not assigned to a team. Except as stated above, refunds may be issued up to 9/26/2024 less a $25.00 transaction Fee. Refunds may not be issued after 9/26/2024 subject to League review.
The League will make the final decision on any outstanding issues as needed.
